How much does custom software cost?
The cost of custom software depends on its size and complexity: the number of screens and user roles, integrations with other systems and the desired timeline. That is why we always start with a no-obligation conversation and a short analysis, after which you receive a clear quote. Because we deliver in stages, you stay in control of the budget: you see results quickly and can adjust course per phase.

How long does a software project take?
It varies per project. A compact web application or website is often live within a few weeks; larger business applications take several months. We work in short iterations and deliver working versions along the way, so you never have to wait until the end of the project for the first results.
Should I choose a Flutter app or a native app?
For most business apps Flutter is the logical choice: one codebase for iOS and Android means lower development and maintenance costs, while the app works the same on both platforms. Building separately for iOS and Android (native) mainly makes sense for very platform-specific functionality or extreme performance requirements. We are happy to advise what fits your situation.

When should I choose custom software over an off-the-shelf package?
If an existing package fits your way of working well, that is often the fastest and cheapest route — and we will tell you so honestly. Custom software pays off when your processes differ from what standard software can handle, when you want to connect systems, or when software should give you an edge over competitors.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. We build integrations (APIs) between your applications and existing business software, so data never has to be entered twice. We also design and optimise databases with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and take care of data migrations from legacy systems.
What happens after delivery?
Software is never "finished": your business changes, and good software changes with it. After delivery we stay involved with maintenance, updates and further development. You keep a single point of contact for questions, issues and new ideas.
What does a project with Fenma look like?
We start with a no-obligation introduction and an analysis of your way of working and bottlenecks. You then receive a proposal with a clear plan and price. Next, we build the solution step by step, with interim deliveries you can respond to. After going live we take care of maintenance and further development.
